Response
Tom Thomson’s family, friends, and business acquaintances each responded to his death in different ways depending on their relationship to him. Pursuing their own interests, those involved in Thomson’s life and death sometimes clashed regarding how he should be remembered. These differences of interest might also have shaped the development of theories about how Thomson died.
