OFFER REWARD IN FARRON CASE

Provincial Police Poster Announces Two Thousand for Clue to Culprit

Everything possible is being done by the British Columbia provincial police to get at the bottom of the explosion which wrecked the day coach on the Kettle Valley train on October 29. A reward of $2000 is now being offered by the government for information which would lead to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the explosion.

The large poster being circulated is signed by J.H. McMullin, superintendent of British Columbia provincial police. The poster states: "The government of the province of British Columbia hereby offers a reward of $2000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the explosion which occurred in passenger coach No. 1586, train No. 11, of the Canadian Pacific Railway company, and which caused the death of a number of persons on the said train one mile east of Farron, British Columbia, on the 29th day of October, 1924."
