JOHN REGINALD REDPATH
Reginald or Regy, as he was known in the family, was born on January 16, 1871 to Ada Mills and John James Redpath. He attended the High School of Montreal but like his brother Harold, he did not attend McGill University.
He moved to Pincher Creek, Alberta, in 1889 to become a cattle rancher. A veteran of the Boer War, in 1907, he married Florence Botterell who bore two sons James and Huntley. Reginald and his family moved to Victoria, British Columbia, and summered in Pincher Creek until 1935 when he sold the ranch. He died in Victoria on November 27, 1951.
