Notes: A relic of Sir John Franklin's last expedition 1845-48. A fragment of sailcloth from a larger piece, marked 'Terror'. It was found at Cape Riley near Beechey Island by the William Penny Search Expedition 1850-51 in the brigs 'Lady Franklin', and ' Sophia'. It is marked with an old museum paper number '36'.
