About Inuit testimony
Inuit Testimony comprises a very significant part of the evidence relevant to establishing the fate of Franklin’s last expedition. After the expedition’s ships sailed westward from Disco, Greenland, the only people who reportedly encountered members of Franklin’s party while they were still alive were Inuit, specifically members of the Netsilingmiut of the eastern Central Arctic region.
