The Information and Complaint of Thomas F. Gibbs of the City of London taken this 11th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy five before me the undersigned one of Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex who saith that James Donnely of the Village of Lucan did on the sixth day of April one thousand eight hundred and seventy five at Lucan aforesaid stole oranges and lemons from my waggon and when I tried to stop him he struck me with steel knuckles and swore he would knock my brains [...].

London April 12, 1875

Rec. from James Donelly Twenty seven dollars 50 in full of all claim for damages for assault committed upon me, of which he was this day convicted.
