Today is Cliff’s twenty first birthday. To celebrate his coming of age we had Harold & Alice to dinner & a large family party afterwards. Big & little were invited & we had the jolliest of evenings. Dancing & games.[...]
Uncle Harry made a speech which Mama & Cliff answered & we all joined the singing “For he’s a jolly good fellow.” Cliff had twenty two presents.
