John NewmanJohn Newman, a Norwegian (or possibly an Englishman), was working with Waddington's road crew that was attacked on the Bute Inlet trail on April 30, 1864. He was sharing a tent with Philip Buckley, a survivor, when he was killed by a Tsilhqot'in warrior. |
