re Donelly
I will make necessary inquiries respecting this case. Everett will be in my office on Saturday, when I will question him with reference to his assertion of belief that Grear's evidence was untrue & made up for the occasion. Lucan is in as bad a state as ever, & unless it can be made very clear that Donelly was wrongfully convicted, it would seem a pity to interfere on his behalf. I will write you again, &
