Dear Sir,
re Donnelly cases
[...] The Feheleys have left the country, but are within reach as yet. What they have said has thrown such a light upon the whole case, that I believe notwithstanding all objections on account of previous conflicting statements that James Feheley's evidence in event of another trial would carry sufficient weight to turn the scale in favor of a conviction. [...] The re-arrest of the men who were indicted coupled with the arrest of a number of others implicated by Feheley would I think have a wonderful effect. [...] Such a number might be arrested on the grounds disclosed by his statements that the result would hardly be doubtful. [...]
Yours truly, Chas Hutchinson, Cty Atty
Hon. A. Crooks
