VERDICT IN THE JOHN DONNELLY CASE.

The Coroner's Jury returned a verdict this morning at 9.20 after being locked up all night, "That John Donnelly came to his death at the residence of William Donnelly, on the morning of February 4th, by being shot by persons unknown." The jury wss then discharged.

Lucan, March 3.- Complaints are made that the jury in the Donnelly inquest displayed a levity altogether unbecoming in the important questions which they had met to decide. It is said that although nominally locked up for the night, several of them were allowed to go around to hotels in the middle of the night. At 2 o'clock this morning they were carousing and singing, "We won't go home till morning." A pailful of beer was sent up to them by some person. This conduct might well become a tavern debating society, but is neither creditable or proper in a jury solemnly sworn to inquire into the caues of death of several murdered parties.[...]
