Glencoe Transcript, Oct. 28, 1886
Robert Donnelly last week sold the house and lot, which he recently purchased, north of the railway, to James Harris for $400, being an advance of $100 for the improvements which he made on the premises. Since coming to Glencoe, about 6 years ago, or shortly after the Biddulph tragedy, Mr. D. has been very successful, having cleared over $3,000 at his occupation of teamster, and considers Glencoe a good money-making place for those who are willing to knuckle down to hard work.
