Queen vs. Sam Everett, Assault of William Hodgins, 1879

Be it remembered that on the 21st day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine - at Lucan in the said County of Middlesex [...] S.L. Everitt did assault one William Hodgins on the third day of April in the Queens Hotel Lucan in the County of Middlesex, and I adjudge the said S.L. Everitt for his said offence to forfeit and pay the sum of two dollars fine to be paid and applied according to law, and also to pay to the said William Hodgins the sum of five dollars and forty five cents for his costs in this behalf [...].
