Had brought Before Us by the Gaol keeper of this city Marie Joseph angelique [...] whom we Confronted with Sieur Estienne volant de Radisson first witness [...]

And Interrogated [...] the Said accused stated that she has no Reproaches to make Against the said Sieur de Radisson until she hears his deposition and then will say if it is true or not.
Following which a Reading was done to the said accused of the Deposition And Re-examination of the said witness And Having heard it She stated that She was not the one who went to alert the Said Sieur Radisson of the fire, And that she did not Go Up the staircase or to the

Attic with him nor with Any Other; that she recalls seeing no one but Sieur Soumande while she Was at the door to the Street. And the said Sieur de Radisson stated that It Is the said accused who went to him and said “Monsieur There is fire at the House of dame francheville;" that having taken two Pailfuls of water He Ran there; that the said accused Mounted the Staircase before him To the first attic where He saw the Flames that Were in the Second attic on the Rafters and Climbing the partition of the pigeon loft and Roof. And not seeing a ladder in order to Reach the floor Next to the pigeon loft in order to Douse the said fire, He said “My God There is no Ladder.” The Said accused then added “The fire is everywhere” and went down; And that he saw nothing of the said Sieur Soumande; that This Is the truth as well as His deposition And Re-examination; that It Is the said accused present whom He Heard speak as Stated in His deposition And re-examination And he Maintained this to the said Accused; And that when he left his Home to Follow the said accused

to the House of the Said dame francheville with his two pailfuls of water the Said accused opened the door for him to Enter And the fire could not Yet be seen coming out of the Roof From the Street; That from the windows of the ladies’ room at the hotel dieu, one could Possibly [see] The glow of the fire through the Dormers.
