At half past five went to the cathedral to see Florence Lyman’s baby christened. Clifford was one of the godfathers & kissed the baby in a very sweet way. He gave a silver pap bowl. Dined at the Watsons & went with Alice, Mr Bob Allan & Harold to see Margaret Mather in Cymbaline. The scenery was magnificent but the acting only fairly good.[...]
