On January 23rd 1857
After Publication of the banns, the undersigned married John Nicholas a native of the Island of Corsica and son of Joseph Nicholas and Madeiline Napolean on one side to Juleta Comeau daughter of the late Joseph Comeau and Jane Gaudett on the other side. As she in her youthful days made a promise not to marry and lived as a Religious for several years in the House of St Martha’s at St. Mary’s Clare a dispensation in the usual way was obtained for her.
