Aurore Gagnon

Born on May 31, 1909, in Ste. Philomène de Fortierville, the second daughter of Télesphore Gagnon and Marie-Anne Caron. She spent about two years (1916-1917) boarding at a convent during her mother's "illness." From September 16 to October 17, 1919, she stayed at the Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Quebec City, where she was treated for a wound and an ulcer on her foot. She died on February 12, 1920, at ten years of age, as the result of abuse by her parents.
