Dear Sir,
[...] Mrs. O'Connor & her children are at the boarding house waiting for the decision as to what will be done for them. The effect upon Johnny is very bad. When not disturbed by his family's evil influence, he is a nice boy & easily managed. Yesterday he said to Pope, that "as they were not getting their money, & I was going back on them, he hoped the prisoners would get off -- & they will get off too". [...]
