[…] The information I have recd. Is as follows, this man Hyland says that he knows all of the murders, he also says he was in Lucan on night of the murder of the Donley family & left there the day following, this man used to drive stage from Luca to London he can give the names of all connected with the tragedy. he has given the names of some allready which I find out is the same that you have in jail at the present time. he has also described the situation of the house & the Donley family & how they were hand cuffed before they were killed. […] let me hear from you as soon as convenient for his wife has left him and he is liable to skip out at any moment.
