Reid, John

John Reid, a constable, attempted with Constables Bawden and Coursey to arrest the Donnellys at Thomas Ryder’s wedding. A riot ensued and shots were fired. The Donnellys escaped, but they were eventually charged. William and John were eventually convicted of assaulting Constable Bawden.
