Donnelly, John
Born in 1847, John (sometimes called Jack) Donnelly was the third eldest son. In 1871 he wed, but the marriage was short-lived. John was involved in the stagecoach industry, as well as the hotel business and farming. He spent much of his time at the old Donnelly homestead, where he was caught up in rows with James Carroll and the Vigilance Committee. John was killed at the home of his brother on February 4, 1880 when he was mistaken for his brother William.
