Donnelly, Michael
Michael was born in 1850 (some sources say 1851) in Canada. During his life Michael Donnelly was often in conflict with the law. He was part of the group that attempted to abduct Margaret Thompson, and he was in many brawls during his time as a stagecoach driver. Michael was also accused of many crimes such as assault and arson. Michael eventually married, moved to St. Thomas and took a position with the Canada Southern Railroad. In 1879 in Waterford, fellow employee William Lewis killed Michael Donnelly during a bar-fight.
