Donnelly, James Jr.

James Jr. was born in Ireland in 1841. His family moved to Canada shortly after his birth. The eldest of the Donnelly boys, James was no stranger to the law. He was charged with a variety of crimes including arson and assault and served time in prison. James died in 1877 supposedly of natural causes although some, such as writer Ray Fazakas, suggest his death may have been the result of a gunshot.
