TITLE VII.
Monitory letters.

ARTICLE V.

CURATES & their Vicars are obliged to publish the Monitory letter upon the first demand, under penalty of confiscation of their worldly goods; which may however, in the event of refusal, be done by another Priest appointed as a matter of course by the Judge.

ARTICLE X.

THE revelations recorded by the Curates or Vicars will be sealed and sent by them to the Registry of the Jurisdiction where the process is pending; & the expense for the voyage will be provided for by the Judge, if it is payable by him.

ARTICLE XI.

In criminal proceedings, our Prosecutors and those of the Seigneurs, & those Officiating, will receive communication of the revelations of the witnesses; & the accusing party, of their name & domicile only.
